RecceLab

Terms of Use

Updated:

These terms apply when you use RecceLab at reccelab.com or as an installed app. By creating an account or using the app you agree to them. Please also read our Privacy Policy.

The service

RecceLab is a tool for rally crews to write, organise and review pace notes: recording notes on recce, drafting notes from a GPX track, syncing notes with onboard video, recording race runs and sharing with other users. RecceLab is developed and operated by an independent developer based in Cyprus ("we"). We may add, change or remove features over time.

Safety first

Rallying is dangerous. Pace notes are your crew's responsibility.

RecceLab is a writing and review tool. It is not a safety system, a navigation system or official timing.

Your account

You must give a valid e-mail address and keep your password safe. You are responsible for what happens under your account. You must be at least 16 years old, or have permission from a parent or guardian. One person may not create accounts to get around limits or bans.

Free plan and Premium

The free plan has limits, such as the number of stages you can keep. Premium removes these limits for a monthly fee shown in the app before you pay. Premium is bought through Google Play or, on the web, through iyzico, and renews automatically each month until you cancel.

Your content

Your stages, notes, tracks, runs, posts and photos remain yours. You give us a limited licence to store, process and display them only as needed to run the service, including showing public content to other users according to your visibility settings. You must have the right to everything you upload; do not upload other people's photos or videos without permission.

Community rules

Do not:

Users can report content. We may remove content that breaks these rules, hide race runs from rankings, and suspend or close accounts that repeatedly or seriously break them.

Third-party services

Some features rely on other services, such as OpenStreetMap maps and routing, YouTube videos, Google sign-in and payment providers. Their own terms apply to them and we are not responsible for their availability or content.

Availability and your data

We work to keep RecceLab available and your data safe, but we cannot guarantee that the service will always be available or free of errors. Keep your own copies of important pace notes, for example with the PDF export.

Limitation of liability

RecceLab is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for accidents, injuries, damage, lost results, penalties or other losses that result from using the app, from errors in pace notes or AI drafts, or from the service being unavailable. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

Ending your use

You can stop using RecceLab at any time and delete your account in the app under Menu → Settings → Account, or by e-mailing info@reccelab.com (see how to delete your account). Deleting your account cancels an active Premium subscription. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms; where reasonable, we will tell you why.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version; for significant changes we will tell you in the app. If you keep using RecceLab after a change, the new terms apply.

Applicable law and disputes

If you are a consumer, nothing in these terms takes away the protection you have under the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live, and you can bring claims in the courts available to you under those laws. If a dispute arises, please contact us first at info@reccelab.com so that we can try to resolve it informally.
